Vintage Paris

I have Paris on the mind! It's all my husbands fault. Every evening he diligently searches for the best deals to plan our possible trip to France this summer. Anyway, i was just thinking about vintage Paris and here are some of the images that popped into my mind. Enjoy!

Turkey Day Outfits!

For a more casual Thanksgiving dinner. Notice the stretchy pants :) I'll definitely have my stretchy pants on tomorrow.

and for a more dressy Thanksgiving dinner.

Braids

Hair braiding is at least 5000 years old. African hair braiding goes back as far as 3500 BCE. I love braids! I’m seeing braid styles more and more on trendy women these days.  . They are being worn from elegant to edgy, and from very complex to loose and simple.  I think it looks good on ever hair type. I’m currently rocking small box braids – I find it so easy to be versatile and creative when my hair is braided.

Here's a little music to jump start your weekend.  This band is great- I've been listening to them a lot  lately and thought i would share.
Have a nice weekend.

Strawbery Banke Museum. Portsmouth,NH

Strawbery  Banke Museum. Portsmouth, NH
From May- October  Stawbery Banke displayed a very interesting exhibit  that I got a chance to see.Threads: The Story of New England Fashion.  The exhibit tells a story of evolving fashion from the 1760’s-1950's.  Portsmouth was once the fourth largest port for goods ranging from ordinary to luxurious and kept up with the fashions imported from Paris and London starting in 1630.
Check out some of my pics.
